A Dandridge man who allegedly told deputies he was shooting at birds through the window of his home is charged with endangering his neighbors. Chad L. Gibson, 44, of 1335 Deep Springs Road, Dandridge, is charged with three counts of reckless endangerment, Deputy Jerry Fugate reported. Fugate was called to the area Sunday on a report of a man shooting a rifle out the window of a residence. The incident occurred as members of a family who live nearby were driving up the driveway to their Surveillance video obtained by the officer ly showed a man pointing a gun out the window toward the family in their car.

Two horse trailers, an all-terrain vehicle, and a garage were destroyed by fire last Wednesday in New Market, sheriff's reports say. Lakeway Central Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze shortly after midnight at 731 Hinchey Hollow Road. JEFFERSON CITY POLICE DEPT Approximately $10,000 in damage was done to Life Care of Jefferson City Friday afternoon when a delivery truck hit. the awning covering the front door entrance. The accident occurred 1 about 4:45 p.m. when the delivery vehicle driven by Cory Goforth of Knoxville ran Into the 9'6" awning, causing extensive damage. Patrolman Robert Peoples reported that the fire department was called, and once on the scene closed the front entrance to the business, located on Old Andrew Johnson Highway.

Vandals caused about $400 in damage to the La Perla ll restaurant on Highway 11-E last Tuesday. Jesus Gonzalez told Patrol Officer Zach Davidson that someone had broken out a window, and cracked the glass in a door on the right side of the business. Officer Davidson reported 1 finding a small white marble that may have struck the window, leaving a small hole and shattering the glass. His report indicates a blunt object appeared to have been used to crack the glass on the door. Some $86 worth of cleaning supplies were reported stolen from Food City Friday afternoon by a woman who left the store with the items in a buggy.

Employee Christy Ann Watson was assisting a cashier when she noticed a white female leaving the store with the items in a buggy.
